CNC Machining in Türkiye
CNC machining is the backbone of Türkiye’s contract-manufacturing base. Suppliers range from small precision shops to large machining plants with multi-axis milling, turning and mill-turn centres, producing prototypes, low-volume batches and recurring series for automotive, machinery, energy, defense and aerospace customers.
Where it is concentrated
Machining capacity is found throughout the Marmara region (Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, Sakarya), in Izmir and Manisa, and in Central Anatolia around Ankara, Eskişehir, Konya and Kayseri. Defense and aerospace machining is concentrated around Ankara and Eskişehir; automotive and machinery work around Bursa and Kocaeli.
Typical work
- Milled housings, brackets, manifolds and plates
- Turned shafts, pins, bushings and fittings
- 5-axis parts with complex geometry
- Finish machining of castings and forgings
- Parts in carbon and alloy steel, stainless, aluminium, brass and engineering plastics
What to include in your requirement
- Drawings (PDF) and 3D models (STEP), with critical dimensions marked
- Material family and grade, for example stainless 316L or aluminium 6082
- Quantity per batch and expected annual volume
- Surface treatment and heat treatment, if any
- Inspection needs such as a first article or dimensional report, and required certifications
How Metraxio assesses facilities
Your requirement is checked against each facility’s structured profile — processes, capabilities, machines, materials and certifications. Results are Qualified, Conditionally Qualified, Needs More Information or Not Qualified; missing profile data leads to “Needs More Information”, not to rejection. Facilities stay anonymous during assessment and quote comparison, and you can invite qualified facilities to an RFQ or hand the project to Managed Sourcing.
