Casting in Türkiye
Türkiye is one of Europe’s largest producers of castings. Its foundries supply grey and ductile iron, steel, aluminium and investment castings to automotive, machinery, pump and valve, energy and agricultural customers, and many offer in-house machining and testing.
Where it is concentrated
Konya is known for its foundry cluster, with further concentrations in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, Izmir, Manisa and Ankara. Aluminium die casting is strongly linked to the automotive supplier base in Marmara.

What to include in your requirement
- Drawing or 3D model, including machining allowances
- Material and grade (for example EN-GJS-400-15 or AlSi9Cu3)
- Part weight and annual volume
- Pattern or tooling ownership
- Testing requirements: NDT, pressure testing, material certificates
